Senior Financial Planning Analyst - Finance

Job Summary

Senior Finance Planning Analyst – full‑time, permanent – reports to the Manager, Capital Accounting and Planning. The role is on the Capital Accounting and Planning Team in the Finance department and is responsible for project cost control, balance sheet accounting, year‑end and audit schedules, major capital project setup in the ERP system, and financial analysis, reporting and accounting services across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end reports, including internal and external audit preparations for selected balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, variance analysis, selected reconciliations and documentation of financial procedures.
• Act as the capital‑related budgeting and expenditure point of contact for the Finance department.
• Lead capital special audits (e.g., MOHLTC, HIRF) and support capital project requests and risk identification.
