Senior Estimator – Water/Wastewater Construction

Maple Reinders is looking to add an experienced Construction Professional to our Civil Estimating team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of civil projects across Canada with a focus on Water and Wastewater, preparing tenders from concept to submission and evaluating risk.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates and tenders using Maple accepted practices and systems.
• Review drawings and specifications, developing a thorough understanding of project needs, requirements and risk.
• Select and contact sub‑contractors and suppliers, obtain quotations, and review their scope of work.
• Prepare quality take‑offs, with specific focus on self‑performed and self‑priced tasks.
• Close tenders in consultation with senior managers and finalize tender submission.
