We're looking to add a Senior Estimator to our Mississauga office to contribute to the growth of our Building operations.
Responsibilities
- This is a full-time on-site position in our Mississauga, Ontario office;
- Responsible for preparing Estimates for Design-Build and for CM projects. This will include all ‘soft’ budget elements including commentary, assumptions lists, presentation materials etc., as required;
- Lead on hard bid pursuits;
- Study plans and specifications;
- Interpret the technical specifications of the tender documents;
- Analyze and prepare tender documents;
- Discuss the working methods to be applied, parts of the work to be subcontracted, risks and constraints of the call for tenders;
- Perform quantity calculations;
- Evaluate the costs of materials, labor, and necessary equipment;
- Find prices from subcontractors and suppliers;
