Job Description
- Perform activities of daily living for residents.
- Perform assessment of residents on admission.
- Assist in administration of medication except controlled drugs and those that are injectables.
- Perform nasogastric tube insertion and feeding.
- Perform urinary catherization for female residents.
- Perform wound care and submit weekly wound update.
- Assist the staff nurse in maintaining and updating the inventory of the wards.
- Supervise or assist in serving of meals.
- Assist in performing procedures during emergency.
- Supervise and assist in the wards' routines. Allocate assignments for the NAs and HAs.
- Ensure the wards are clean and tidy.
- Supervise, guide and teach the new staff, NAs and HAs in performing nursing procedures.
- Provide good customer service to the clients and customers.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the staff nurse.
