Job Description – Team Leader (Manufacturing / Assembly)

1. Job Purpose

To lead and supervise a team on the shop floor to achieve production targets with required quality, safety, and efficiency standards while ensuring adherence to processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

Plan and execute daily production activities to meet schedule and output targets Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Monitor line performance and take corrective actions for deviations Optimize manpower deployment and machine utilization

Quality Management

Ensure product quality at all stages of production Identify defects and initiate root cause analysis and corrective actions Enforce quality standards and compliance with inspection protocols
