Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Custom Orders

This position reports to: Engineering Manager

This role is contributing to the NEMA Baldor/Reliance Custom Motor Design Engineering Team in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco. Main stakeholders are Product Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales.

Your role and responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical components for custom NEMA motors with complete winding designs, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Apply engineering principles and sound judgment to optimize motor performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Perform engineering calculations including performance analysis, thermal considerations, and regulatory compliance verification.
• Develop winding designs and electrical specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, and construction.
