Opportunity

In the Resources subsector of our Energy, Resources & Industry business line, WSP supports mining and heavy industrial clients across Canada. This role shapes the electrical power systems that drive Canada’s mining, metals, and industrial sectors. Based in an Ontario office—ideally Northern Ontario or Greater Toronto Area—as a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will serve as a senior subject‑matter expert in electrical design for both new construction and brown‑field projects, influencing outcomes from concept through completion.

Your Impact

• Design electrical power distribution and control systems that support safe, reliable industrial operations.


• Apply technical expertise to hazardous classification environments, including flammable gases and combustible dusts.


• Conduct power system studies—load flow, short‑circuit, arc‑flash analysis—using tools such as ETAP or EasyPower.
