Overview
We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for our Global Minerals & Metals team in Canada. The role supports all electrical activities during mineral process plant design, across all project phases. Experience in aluminum projects will be considered an asset.
Your role
- Lead electrical engineering commitments in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and project management for electrical design mandates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage electrical staff resources, mentor development, and recruit new team members.
- Lead and participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants, documenting outcomes.
- Review tender submissions and contractor quotations.
- Prepare design briefs, schematics, project documents, and perform required engineering calculations.
