Reporting directly to the Manager of Development Services, this Senior Planner position focuses on effectively managing and processing subdivision and development applications. You’ll be instrumental in advising other department members and external stakeholders regarding applicable bylaws and regulations, ensuring smooth project execution and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate land subdivision and development proposals
• Coordinate and monitor application processing targets
• Provide planning project leadership and oversight
• Assist in the delivery of public consultation processes
• Maintain accurate property files and compliance records
Requirements:
• Degree in planning or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant planning experience
