Summary

DMC Mining Services is looking for a Senior Designer, Structural to join our team permanently in Vaughan, Ontario. The role involves completing complex designs and drawings for fabrication and construction, including steel fabrication, welded and bolted connections, and concrete structures. The incumbent must make independent decisions and adhere to company standards and procedures, using commercially available design software.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and creative structural design solutions (layout plans, sections, and details) to resolve various structural design challenges, adding value to DMC’s complex mining projects.
• Work with the engineering team to develop preliminary and final designs.
• Create 3D models in Revit and produce drawings to issue to clients.
• Produce preliminary, tender, and detailed construction drawings for buildings and structures.
• Detail structural elements.
