Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on senior engineer to join the Platform Engineering team at Cendyn as a Senior Database Administrator. In this role, you will lead the design, reliability, and modernization of our multi-engine production database fleet, mentor and grow the DBA practice, partner with cloud and AppDev teams on data architecture, and act as the senior escalation point for database incidents. You will help us drive improvements to our significant public cloud footprint, DevOps pipelines and processes, and observability practice, with a particular focus on the data tier.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the operation of a multi-engine production database fleet across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB-both self-managed and cloud-managed (Aurora, RDS, Azure SQL,Cloud SQL)
