Senior Data Center Operations Engineer

What the Role Entails

1. Contribute to Tencent’s overseas data center strategy in line with company and departmental objectives; oversee local management of overseas data centers, including site selection, construction, and operations to ensure quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security.
2. Manage IT operations for overseas data centers, including IT maintenance, relocation, decommissioning, warehousing, asset management, operational safety, and service management, while building and maintaining relevant processes and documentation; support IDC-related compliance certifications.
3. Manage relationships with overseas data center and network operators, building strong partnerships to ensure secure and reliable operations.
4. Oversee and evaluate on-site operations outsourcing partners and teams.
5. Drive the development of the overseas IDC ecosystem.
