Position Overview
As Senior Counsel for Uline’s Canadian operations, you serve as a key advisor to leadership, guiding complex legal matters and aligning legal strategy with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support Canada operations and legal matters, partnering with leadership to ensure business goals align with laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with U.S. teams to assess commercial transactions and align legal strategy to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Proactively identify legal and regulatory risks and raise issues as needed.
- Conduct legal research and prepare documents, offering guidance to business leaders on a variety of legal issues.
- Partner with management and HR to evaluate, develop, and implement employment practices, policies, and compliance programs.
