We’re looking for a Payments Strategy Consultant who will work at the intersection of strategy, data and technology, helping leading financial institutions improve profitability in highly complex payment ecosystems. Location: Madrid.

About the role

At ARGOZ Consultants, you’ll focus on delivering measurable impact on clients’ P&L by identifying and implementing optimization opportunities across scheme costs (Visa, Mastercard), interchange, and merchant pricing, often in the millions.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-impact projects with issuers and acquirers across international markets.
• Break down complex payment cost structures into clear, actionable insights.
• Perform deep‑dive analyses on large, granular datasets.
• Interact directly with senior stakeholders in finance, payments and strategy teams.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of proprietary SaaS solutions.
