Senior Components Engineer (Fixed Term 18 Months)

SENIOR COMPONENT ENGINEER
Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Purpose
To complete projects with suppliers to provide an uninterrupted flow of components for assembly operations that meet instrument, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
Complete technical projects with suppliers to improve supplier process capacity, capability, maintainability, instrument assembly capability, and instrument output performance.
Determine tooling and spare parts requirements to maintain component supply.
Provide technical support for approval/validation of changes/improvements in supplier processes.
Provide technical support for resolution of component quality issues.
Potentially coordinate RMI/CAD/BOM actives.
Produce component cost comparisons and analyze alternative manufacturing methods for cost improvement projects.
