Senior Ceramics Studio Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth ceramics tutoring and guidance for all ceramics classes, inclusive of special technique classes
• Ability to design lesson outlines for ceramic classes
• Ability to sets up, clean, and demonstrate the use of pottery equipment and instruments safely and effectively, inclusive of kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces
• Design and produce AIA ceramic products for retail and commercial purposes
• Plan exhibitions and events which includes artist workshops
• Oversees and manages studio inventory, approving or facilitating purchases as needed
• Monitor and ensure a clean and safe working environment, with regular upkeep of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials
• Any other assigned ad-hoc duties.
