Full‑time Senior Buyer – Richmond, Vancouver (Hybrid: 1 day per week remote)
Schedule & Compensation
Monday to Friday, business hours. Salary range $60,000 to $80,000 per year plus an annual performance‑based bonus.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate stock levels for a variety of fresh and frozen products, including specifications and delivery arrangements.
- Prepare purchase orders and related procurement documentation.
- Manage inventory levels for production and sales.
- Follow up on a variety of purchasing‑related tasks.
- Meet or exceed purchasing scorecard targets such as fill rates, inventory caps, and long/slow inventory.
- Source new products to keep customers competitive and current on market trends.
- Stay informed of market shifts to negotiate the best pricing in a commodity marketplace.
