Senior Business Systems Analyst (Toronto)

Responsibilities

• Champion a customer‑focused culture, ensuring end‑to‑end integrity of business and technical requirements across digital banking journeys.
• Analyze and develop functional and technical requirements based on solution documentation.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders, translating outcomes into user stories, use cases, sequence diagrams and process flows.
• Drive joint application design and solutioning sessions with architecture, development and security teams to inform high‑level estimates for large and medium‑sized initiative intake.
• Create, refine, and manage product and release backlogs, supporting prioritization, dependency management, and delivery forecasting.
• Bridge the gap between Business and IT, ensuring shared understanding and alignment on both functional and non‑functional requirements (such as reporting, performance, interfaces, and constraints).
