Overview
Position Overview The Senior Building Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and smooth daily operation of assigned commercial buildings within a property portfolio. This role performs routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs while supporting tenant service delivery and ensuring compliance with Alberta health, safety, and building regulations. The Building Operator works closely with Senior Building Operators, Operations Managers, and contractors to maintain optimal building performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Daily Operations
Conduct daily building inspections, including mechanical rooms, common areas, roofs, and equipment spaces.
Operate and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general building systems.
Perform minor repairs such as replacing belts, filters, fixtures, and basic electrical or plumbing components.
