Senior Engineer – Bridge – Ontario
WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Ontario Bridge Team, based in Ottawa or Kingston. The role reports to the Ottawa Bridge Engineering Manager and involves the preliminary and detailed design of bridges and other civil structures for federal, provincial, and municipal clients across Ontario and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preliminary and detailed design of complex bridges, culverts, retaining walls and other civil structures for all levels of government
- Perform and coordinate structural analysis and design
- Manage bridge engineering projects, coordinate design teams, and support project management and technical teams across WSP
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications and reports
- Provide QA/QC and peer‑review services for designs and drawings
- Review shop drawings and provide engineering support during construction
