JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and build APIs and microservices on the existing Java/Spring Boot stack. Own the data model and integrations to systems and third parties (payment gateways, WhatsApp Business / SMS, mapping, identity). Hold the backend quality bar — code reviews, test authoring, SOC 2 / ISO 27001- aligned engineering practices in every new module. Partner with the Mobile Engineer on API contracts and BFF design; partner with DevOps on releases and observability.
