Senior Backend Engineer, Core Services (Scale & Reliability)

Rakuten Singapore is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and evolve backend systems that power our global streaming platform. You will own services, drive delivery from design to deployment, and mentor junior engineers.

Work with Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python across distributed microservices, relational databases, and messaging systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve performance, observability, and reliability at scale.
