Senior backend blockchain engineer (Guadalajara)

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico (currently hybrid with up to 50% remote).

Responsibilities

• Work as a senior member of the backend team, partnering with developers, tech leads, frontend, QA, and producers on cross‑functional squads to analyze, design, build, and evolve the microservices (APIs, ETLs, edge services) that power our jukebox, mobile app, web, and TV experiences.
• Lead the design and delivery of RESTful API services from problem statement through production, including writing design documents and weighing architectural trade‑offs.
• Review code and designs from peers across the squad and the wider backend department, raising the bar on quality, testability, and operational readiness.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior engineers through pairing, design reviews, and structured knowledge sharing such as brown bags or internal documentation.
