On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Azure SQL DBA for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Job Description
The Expert DBA will manage and optimize the performance of large-scale Azure SQL databases in a high-demand enterprise banking setting. This role involves diagnosing and resolving complex database performance issues and supporting critical banking applications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks
- Tune queries and address resource contention
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application-database interactions
- Conduct capacity planning and scaling strategies
- Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents
Mandatory Skills
