Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to scale production-ready machine learning solutions, from advanced personalization engines to cutting-edge generative AI newsroom tools.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will bridge the gap between AI research and large-scale production. Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg, you will design and deploy scalable ML pipelines, build advanced NLP content recommendation systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to revolutionize digital media.

Must-Haves

• AI/ML Architecture: Deep learning, NLP, transformer models, LLMs, and vector databases
• Software Engineering: REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years dedicated to scaling production ML systems

Nice-to-Haves

• Domain Expertise: Experience in media, publishing, web analytics, or A/B testing
