Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Operations
- Assist the Manager in managing the day-to-day accounting and finance functions
- Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Freight Forwarding Accounting
- Review shipment-related billing, job costing, and profitability reports
- Ensure accurate recording of freight revenue and operational costs
- Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and revenue recognition issues
- Monitor customer collections and vendor payments related to freight forwarding transactions
