Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for all group companies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure proper recording of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review and approve journal entries prepared by junior staff
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements
- Prepare and review VAT returns, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks
- Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent errors and fraud
- Supervise, guide, and review work of 3 accounting staff
- Allocate tasks, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met
- Provide on-the‑iob training and performance feedback
