Senior Accountant - Contract

Our Client is a privately owned HVAC Contractor and Fuel Supplier in Orangeville and is in search to bring on a Senior Accountant to join their team for a 16 month contract assignment. The role is in office located in Orangeville full time to start.

Responsibilities

This Senior Accountant role reports to the Director of Finance and will support full-cycle accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, AP / AR oversight and day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, prepare journal entries, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and support year‑end reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR accuracy and provide backup support for AR, cash receipts, bank deposits, payment applications, and customer inquiries.
• Support financial analysis, accounting process improvements, and day‑to‑day accounting operations.
