Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of the business. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for full‑cycle accounting, year‑end audit readiness, job costing and analysis, account reconciliations, preparation of month‑end reporting, forecasting and budgeting, and ad‑hoc financial analysis.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Manage full‑cycle accounting including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support year‑end audits and act as primary contact for external auditors
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Perform job costing and project profitability analysis, tracking labour, materials, and subcontractor costs
• Monitor WIP, revenue recognition, and project performance
