Putting people first, BDO is a firm built on positive relationships with clients and professionals. The GTA Audit Practice is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team from Toronto, Oakville or Markham.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct audit and review engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory and firm standards.
• Coordinate year‑end assurance engagements for clients across a range of industries, including supporting information for corporate tax filings prepared by the tax team.
• Apply working knowledge of accounting frameworks such as ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP as appropriate.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships by responding promptly and delivering high‑quality service.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
