Senior Accountant - 18 month contract

Our downtown Vancouver real estate development client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for an 18 month contract.

Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for development and rental properties
• Perform monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
• Oversee trial balance integrity, journal entries, and maintenance of accounting schedules
• Support year-end financial statements, working papers, and corporate/partnership tax filings
• Coordinate with external accountants for audits, reviews, and compliance requirements
