Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Morpeth

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Responsibilities

Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. Provide both academic and emotional support, helping pupils engage positively with their learning and develop key life skills. Work closely with teaching staff, demonstrating strong behaviour management skills on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Experience working with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
• Ability to build positive relationships and establish clear boundaries
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
