Security Specialist (Counter Unmanned Systems)

Summary About the Position: You will serve as the Counter Unmanned Systems (C-UXS) expert for the Headquarters US Africa Command (AFRICOM), Operations Directorate (J-3), Mission Assurance & Protection Division (J-34) and be the focal point of USAFRICOM staff coordination for all aspects withing the Geographic Combatant Command for requirements supporting C-UXS objectives. Responsibilities You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of Counter Unmanned Systems (C-UXS) and C-UXS capabilities, trends, and advancements to keep abreast of emergent threats. You will manage all aspects of C-UXS contract support as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), managing acquisition requirements under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
