Security Officer

Security Officer (Contract) – Fixed Term – $24.23 per hour. Application Deadline: July 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining public order and enforcing security and safety rules
• Controlling access to the gaming floor by inspecting IDs and preventing entry to prohibited persons (under 19, intoxicated, or trespassed)
• Conducting bag checks to screen for prohibited items
• Assisting with emergency situations and liaising with outside support agencies
• Investigating incidents, preparing detailed security reports, and providing witness statements
• Assisting with money escorts/transfers, ATM fills, and executing card and dice destruction
• Attending alcohol refusals and assisting with the removal of intoxicated guests
• Working safely, complying with Health & Safety policies and legislation
