Key Responsibilities
- Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment onboard the ship, including access control, crowd management, and emergency response protocols.
- Conduct routine patrols of public areas, crew spaces, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access, monitor for suspicious activity, and ensure compliance with security measures.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to identify security threats, safety hazards, and operational issues, and take appropriate action to address and resolve incidents.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and medical situations onboard, providing assistance, first aid, and crisis intervention as needed, and coordinating with appropriate authorities and emergency response teams.
