Edmonton Islamic Academy is looking for a dedicated Secondary Online Learning Teacher in Mathematics and Science. Engage a diverse student body from Grades 7–9 through effective online learning experiences.
This role offers a hybrid model, with four days on-site and one day remote each week. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in Mathematics and Science, focusing on developing critical thinking and analytical skills for home-educated students. Applicants should be organized, tech-savvy, and demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with both students and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach secondary home education students in Math and Science
• Provide engaging online instruction and support
• Develop individualized learning plans aligned with Alberta curriculum
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
• Create engaging digital learning resources and assessments
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent
