Recruitment Criteria
- Minimum of 12 months experience as Second Cook/Messman on foreign‑going ships of relevant size/type
- Working knowledge of spoken English
- Experience with international cuisine specifically European foods
- Handling of provisions, purchasing, accounting, and administration
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Knowledge of emergency procedures (Fire‑Abandon ship‑Man overboard‑Oil Spill)
- Awareness of safety meetings, reporting near misses, incidents, accidents
- Certificates compliant with STCW 2010 Manila amendments requirements
