Key Accountabilities
- Adhere to all health and safety policies, procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets, beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
- Adhere to food quality and food safety standards as per quality guidelines and Safe Quality Food requirements.
- Be proficient in operating the specific machine (e.g., Labeller, Filler, Depalletizer, Mead, Kayat, Palletizer, Harkness) and related equipment.
- Follow the production schedule and communicate with the Lead Hand regarding problems or necessary changes.
- Constantly monitor the line for issues such as down bottles/cans, low fills, faulty packaging, damage, missing or improperly registered labels.
