This position will require research into the mechanism by which ciliary activity dictates the morphogenesis of a straight spine.

• In situ hybridization
• Immunofluorescence staining
• Confocal microscopy
• Light and video microscopy to monitor ciliary motility
• Mammalian cell culture
• CRISPR/Cas9 based gene editing
• Protein biochemistry
• Bioinformatics analyses

The candidate is expected to be passionate and independent and should actively participate in organizing data for manuscripts and present research findings at international conferences.
