About the role

We require a skilled multidisciplined scientist (Haematology/Coagulation, Biochemistry, Blood Bank), who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate, vibrant and engaged team. You will be responsible for:

Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing

Performing all routine procedures from point of specimen reception to execution of results for Pathological diagnosis

Assisting with Stock Control

Compliance with records maintenance and recording of results in line with protocols

Maintaining all equipment and operating equipment in line with protocols

Maintaining current scientific knowledge

Participation in both routine and audit related Quality Assurance activities

Contributing to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as required

Participating in training staff
