Marine Scientist – Full‑Time Researcher

Center for Research and Advanced Studies (Cinvestav), Merida Unit, invites applications for a Full‑Time Researcher position in the Department of Marine Resources.

Overview

The selected candidate will join the Department of Marine Resources and develop an independent, innovative, and internationally focused research project in one of the following areas: Socioeconomic Modeling, Ecological Modeling, Aquaculture Bioeconomics, Ecosystem Services, and Marine Biotechnology.

Responsibilities Develop original cutting‑edge research. Manage external funding for research projects. Teach postgraduate courses. Train graduate students through courses, workshops, and thesis supervision. Present seminars on research proposals and participate in scientific interviews. Qualifications Ph D in Biological Sciences, Marine Biology, Physical or Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology, Marine Chemistry, or related disciplines. Postdoctoral experience o...
