Job Summary

Science Teacher – Grades 11–12 at Elkford Secondary School, Elkford, BC. Full-time temporary contract (1.0 FTE) from September 8, 2026 or upon completion of posting to June 25, 2027. Teaching courses include Chemistry 11 & 12, Physics 11 & 12, Life Sciences 11 and Environmental Science 11.

Contract & Compensation

Full-time temporary contract. Starting annual salary ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, placement on range based on length of service and qualifications. Competitive benefits and pension.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BC teacher certification preferred.
• Degree, formal training and/or teaching experience in Science at the secondary level.
• Evidence of qualifications must be provided in the application.
