Confirm packaging meets form, fit and ergonomic requirements for plant internal packaging/dunnage.
- Initiate corrective actions to alleviate part quality concerns related to dunnage or handling- Support lean manufacturing continuous improvement (decanted marketplace, small lot containerization, flexible linefeed, returnable containerization, etc.).
- Manage Ford-owned container and material handling maintenance and cleaning projects- Manage stock piles, external warehousing, and logistics (supporting part re-pack, rust-proofing, container repair, dunnage washing, and long-term part storage).
- Develop internal packaging/dunnage specifications and sign off ( global Ford packaging specification)- Work with teams, operators, and Material Handling to improve workstation material delivery and presentation.
