We are looking for a Scala Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on modern backend systems and scalable applications.
Location
- Candidates must be based in Spain or Portugal
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Scala
- Experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Solid understanding of software design principles and distributed systems
- Experience working with databases and data-intensive applications
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern development practicesExperience with version control systems (Git)
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- English level: Intermediate+ or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Akka, Play Framework, Cats, ZIO, or similar Scala ecosystem too...
