Role & responsibilities
- Supervise the erection, alteration, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems.
- Allocate daily work activities to scaffolders and monitor productivity.
- Ensure scaffolding is erected according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct pre-use and routine scaffold inspections to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Verify that all scaffolding components are in good condition before use.
- Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and safety teams to meet project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and site safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the scaffolding team.
- Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work practices.
