Satellite Electrical Systems Engineer (Longueuil)

Responsibilities

Define and validate the satellite electrical architecture (power generation, storage, distribution, avionics interfaces) Perform power budget analysis, system sizing, and margin assessments across mission phases Design and specify key subsystems (batteries, solar arrays, power conditioning and distribution units) Conduct performance and robustness analyses (worst-case scenarios, thermal behavior, radiation effects) Develop and maintain technical documentation (ICDs, electrical schematics, specifications, test plans) Support system integration, verification, and validation activities (functional, environmental, performance testing) Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, thermal, propulsion, software) to ensure system consistency Interface with suppliers and support component selection, qualification, and issue resolution Own the Electrical Power System (EPS) end-to-end, ensuring compliance with mission and system requirements Profile
