We are looking for a Janitor to join our opening team at Sobeys British Columbia Central Kitchen located at 7560 Beedie Way, Unit 115, Delta, BC V4G 1C2. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the central kitchen, warehouse, equipment, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the Central Kitchen, warehouse, equipment, and surrounding properties according to HACCP standards.
- Sweep, scrub, and sanitize floors; manage waste and recycling.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; frequent walking, bending, squatting, and twisting.
- Occasionally lift over 88 lbs (two-person lift required for weights exceeding 50 lbs).
- Work in a cool environment (1–4°C).
