Summary
Our Thunder Bay location is hiring for Sample Preparation Technicians to assist us in preparing samples for laboratory analysis. The schedule for this role will be 12 hour shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off rotational at days and nights. Schedules will be 8 PM - 8 AM or 8 AM - 8 PM. The expected wage for this position is $20.00-$27.00/hr.
What you will be doing
- Unpack, sort, check, crush and pulverize mineral samples using specialized equipment
- Safely follow standard operating procedures, and perform quality control checks as required
- Enter sample data into computer, ensuring accurate details
What you bring to the table
- High School Diploma
- Fork Lift certification/license is an asset
- Ability to lift 25 kg on a consistent basis
- Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
