JOB TITLE: Sample Logistics Technician


JOB CLASSIFICATION : Full-Time


DEPARTMENT & SECTION: Sample Logistics


LOCATION: Bedford, NS


DESCRIPTION: Sample receipt, preparation of samples and shipping related duties for all clients in support of the Sample Logistics Team. This position also includes administrative functions.

Key Accountability/Responsibilities:

  • Greet all clients in a friendly, positive manner

  • Receive all external client samples

  • Unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements

  • Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and/or received date

  • Ensure all required samples are redirected as required
