The Sales Support position is responsible for quoting material, creating new part numbers, entering new purchase orders, backlog reports, and assisting the assigned Account Executives on daily tasks.
1. Preparing quotes for customers as requested.
2. Source non-stock items.
4. Entering new and/or revised purchase orders.
5. Send requisitions to the purchasing department as needed for non-stock material.
6. Maintain expedite reports and customer portals as required by the customers.
7. Maintain an up to date back log report.
8. Prepare and finalize trade and bank references to open credit lines for new customers.
9. Assist Account Executives as needed.
10. Greets and screens telephone calls in a professional manner.
11. Operate computer systems.
12. Maintain a clean office environment.
13. All other responsibilities as assigned by management.
